Below is a list of the types of photos and media that may be used to produce a Memorial Tribute DVD. The photos and media can be left with the Funeral Director who is organising the service and we will collect them from there.
Other ways of getting the photos to us are by sending them via email to photos@multimediamemories.com.au or via a cloud based storage area such as Dropbox or One Drive. We can help you with this method by setting up the Dropbox account and emailing the link to you.

Select and note a “First” or “Main” photo that will be displayed on the screen for the service until the DVD is played. Number the photos or place them in the order you would like them to appear in the DVD. Some people like to have the photos appear in a random order of which we can do that for you.

Please supply details if there is anyone or thing that you would like taken out of a photo. We will endeavour to do our best to meet these requests.

Supply details of Names, Nicknames, relevant dates and any captions and titles that are to be used in the DVD.

Client Scanned Photos

These must be supplied on either a CD, USB Memory Stick or Memory Card. Please scan the photos in at a resolution of 300dpi or above and in colour (including black and white photos). A poor quality scanned photo will lead to a very poor quality picture on the large LCD TV or Projector screen.
Please do not crop or adjust the photo in any way as we will do this to suit the DVD format. We will perform some photo restoration to any damaged or faded photos.

Digital camera photos

Please copy these onto a CD, USB Memory Stick or Memory Card. Please do not crop or adjust the photo in any way as we will do this to suit the DVD format.

Social media photos

If you would like to use photos from the social media platforms available today, please note that photos that have been uploaded to places like Facebook have been compressed down to suit that website and have lost a lot of there quality. There are ways to extract photos from these website to get a better quality or the original file out. Please explore these methods first as we may not be able to use downloaded photos from these sites. The photos can then be given to us on a USB drive.

Newspaper and magazine articles

Black and White or Colour – Please supply the original or a good copy.

Digital Video Camera Footage

Please copy the required footage to a CD, USB Memory stick or memory card.

If that is not possible, please supply the camera, cables and software so that we may capture the footage.

VHS and Camcorder tapes

Please supply the required tapes with a detailed note of what the footage required is and an approximate time mark on the tape of where the footage is so that we may capture it.

There are extra costs involved with these processes.

Music for the Memorial Tribute DVD

Please supply the original or a copy of the music disc for use in the DVD and note the desired track.

Digital music may be supplied in CD, WAV, Mp3 and iTunes formats.

Please choose a piece of music that is 4 minutes or more in length. If the piece of music that you would like for the DVD is less than 3 and half minutes long, please select a second song so there is enough music time for all of your photos to be displayed.
